MY STORY
Noa Azoulay
My name is Noa, and I have been living in Japan since 2000.
I arrived here with only $400 in my pocket, seeking adventure and hoping to save enough money to fulfil two lifelong dreams: backpacking through South America and becoming a professional photographer for National Geographic.
But as fate would have it, I fell in love with Japan and its people, and I decided to make it my home.
over the years, I have immersed myself in Japanese culture and learned about photography, anthropology, pottery, and Japanese cooking.
While I used to work as a marketing director in a trade company, I have always been passionate about sharing the magic of Japan with the world. That's why I founded ShiZen Japan, a tour guide company that offers unforgettable experiences in the Kansai region.
As a photographer, I love capturing the beauty of people and the world around us. But my greatest treasure is my three-year-old daughter, who I live with in the enchanting city of Kyoto.
I enjoy spending time with her and exploring new places together.

5 hours Tour
this is a slightly shorter version of the full day tour, after greeting you at the hotel's lobby, We will start the day with Kyoto's most revered historical sites, you will be able to learn about the city's rich history and culture. Later we will also take a tour on Kyoto's most vibrant streets and you will be able to take in the sights and smell of the area through out history. after tour day of exploration you will have a greater appreciation and understanding of the city and its culture so come and join on a tour.
Full Day Tour
We will start the day with a meet up at your hotel and will continue to Kyoto's most revered historical sites, you will be able to learn about the city's rich history and culture. we will also take a tour on Kyoto's most vibrant streets and you will be able to take in the sights and smell of the area through out history. after a full day of exploration you will have a greater appreciation and understanding of the city and its culture so come and join on a tour.
there are about 10 different tours in kyoto and osaka, after contacting me we could have a chat so I will be able to understand more about your hopes and interest and then will be able to tailor the best tour for you.
Food Tour
We will start our day at the local market, where you will find a wide variety of fresh products and other ingredients. next we will move to a traditional restaurants and for sake lovers we can visit a sake brewery, this tour could be designed according to your request as well. the tour includes 4 tasting dishes and one dessert.
